A Bad Week For Democrats And It Is Only Wednesday

It's been a rough week for Democrats.

In New York, Governor Patterson pulls out of running for governor amid accusations of unethical behavior, including personally interfering in a domestic abuse case of a subordinate.

We have a two-fer In Washington, DC. First, Charlie Rangel leaves his chairmanship of the House Ways and Means committee due to an ethics investigation. Then, not to be outdone, Eric Massa of New York, decides not to run for reelection due to health concerns but it is probably more related an ethics investigation into claims he sexually harassed a male aide. It gets worse, Massa's district leans Republican. in 2008 McCain beat Obama 51% to 48%.

Let's hope for better times.
